Priscilla Pollard (Manurewa High School) has put together this vocabulary building activity. Based on sentences using the conditional, students must complete the phrases by finding a suitable noun (and its article). Students can then be encourage to write their own.

Le Conditionel - jeu de société

Rachel McDonald (South Otago High School) has created a boardgame so that her students practise the Conditional.  Print Rachel's game and the instructions, add a dice and markers after the teams have been decided and students will get both their imagination and  motivation going to complete the sentences.

Preceding Direct Object Agreement

Ali Rennie (Te Puke High School) has created and kindly shared the card matching activity below to practise Preceding Direct Object agreements for a self-correcting speaking exercise. Ali has used this to complement work started with the study PPT by Ruth Bourchier "Le message (J. Prévert) en images" (Scroll down Poetry & Literature). Upon understanding the poem, her students went on to write their own in the same style enthusiastically.

Ensure your students get it right!
