Designing your own practice papers made easy! Dawn Jarbeau (Team Solutions Auckland) and a team of Auckland teachers have created and shared these up to date easy to use templates. Your students can now be really familiar with those exam papers!
Patsy Hall (Hamilton High School for Girls), Shelley McKay (Waikato Diocesan School for Girls) and Pascale Hyboud-Peron (french.ac.nz Administrator) have joined efforts to provide Teachers of French with ready to use, recently reviewed templates on which to insert their chosen Internal Assessment Task. The idea behind providing such detailed templates with precise descriptions, definitions and attention to words being used is twofold: to comply closely to NZQA requirements and to assist teachers in meeting these requirements.
NB: These templates have not been moderated by NZQA.
Foreword: these templates are very comprehensive and include (in the following order):
a Student Assessment Sheet and Achiviement Criteria
a page on which to insert your chosen task
a list of Guidelines for Achievement
a summary of Assessment Conditions
an Assessment Schedule (with space to include Language samples)
a list of Definitions of Terms used
a Student Task Cover sheet
a Teacher's Marking sheet
a Post Assessment feedback to student form for Teachers.
You can use any or all pages of these templates when preparing an Internal Assessment task to give your students. (1, 2, 5 would certainly be the most commonly inserted pages)
For the conservation minded: select "2 on 1 page" before you hit Print!
You are warmly invited to use these templates or parts thereof and provide feedback upon their use with your classes. Click on Contact to do so.
The following Planning Guides have been designed by Patsy, Shelley and Pascale, as a useful complement to the Internal Assessment Templates above. They were inspired by the templates for Japanese Assessments they saw on TKI and developed these Guides to ensure students understand and meet the requirements oulines in the Templates.
