This comprehensive file includes many links to websites related to Sport in the Media in particular. It also offers a range of teaching ideas and lesson plans to be used in class on the themes such as analysing ads using the theme of Sport, how to present an event from different perspectives, work from a video etc.

Understanding a Rugby Commentary This link takes you to RFI (Radio France Internationale) which produces a lot of teaching materials, based on listening to radio broadcast excerpts. Here you access a "Fiche Pédagogique" to download and print, selected excerpts as well as a list of materials and the time needed to cover the activities. Some knowledge of the game is required! (But this is New Zealand, it should be fine with many of your students!)
