french.ac.nz is reborn thanks to the French Language Fund. The Cultural Service of the Embassy of France in New Zealand set up this fund for French Language Cooperation. The application for the website project, made in February 2008, was successful and the funds were granted in early May of the same year.
Dominique Suquet has been the “Attaché de Coopération pour le français” since 2007. His dedication to his post is best described by his own words: “La finalité de nos tâches respectives (est de)c onnaître l’autre, et parler sa langue pour construire avec lui le monde dans lequel nos enfants vivront demain”.
